HAUTECH | Continental Airlines Adds a New Pair of Wings to their Flights and its Wireless

This Spring Continental Airlines will be going Wireless with their new Gogo Inflight Internet service on 757-300s

The new Gogo Inflight Internet service will provide customers full Internet access on their own standard, Wi-Fi equipped laptop or Personal Electronic Device (PED) at speeds similar to wireless mobile broadband services on the ground. Customers will be able to sign up and log in once the aircraft reaches 10,000 feet. The Gogo system, powered by the Aircell Network and available in the continental U.S., will be available to customers at a cost from $4.95 and up, based on length of flight.

Gogo is the first wireless broadband network with wings, providing coverage on select partnering airlines across the continental United States* at speeds similar to wireless mobile broadband services on the ground.

Road tripping doesn’t have to mean a vacation from looking good.  Choosing the right travel products can help you look your best while still being able to see out of the rear view window!

Makeup – Perfect Travel Companion
I believe that a girl needs a little color somewhere on her face – eyes, lips, cheeks. It’s your choice. What feature do you want to play up?  I’m not one to compromise my look for the sake of traveling light.  After all, you’ll most likely be taking lots of photos and everyone knows you look a little better with a little color.
•    Palettes offering lip gloss, 2 or 3 blush shades and 4 to 6 eye shadows can be the perfect travel companion. Most palettes available from any of your favorite cosmetic brands (try MAC or Urban Decay) include colors that allow for a day time look and a darker evening look.
•    If your palette seems to be missing a few things add to your makeup bag a duo shadow from Too Faced, one of my favorite Orange County based makeup lines.  For the perfect neutral eye try Lovey Dovey Eye Shadow.  It’s wearable all day or in your case all trip long.
•    For evening glitz it up with a liquid liner with flecks of glitter. My favorite shade is -Skincare
Your skin care routine may drastically change based on the climate of where you will be visiting.  My recommendation for a well-rounded, highly effective line is, my favorite new skin care discovery, a line called Eve Lom out of the UK.  This came as a recommendation from Nikki Kinnard founder of Space NK. You’ve probably seen it at Bloomingdales.  The best news is that they make a travel kit with an assortment of their best products.  Their star product is the cleaner, which Vogue said “is probably the best cleaner in the world.”  Eve, who is an actual person, says that her line is inspired by a philosophy of deep cleansing and that less is more when it comes to skincare.  Yep that sounds consistent with our travel philosophy.
•    Pick up the Eve Lom Luxury Collection, which includes – Cleanser, Muslin Cloth, Rescue Masque, Moisturizer + SPF 15, TLC Cream and Hand Cream + SPF 10.  I’ve taken this kit with me on a number of trips and don’t necessarily use every product for every trip.  But, it’s nice to have in your arsenal just in case your skin calls for a quick fix (try TLC Cream or Rescue Masque)
•    As women, we all know the importance of wearing an SPF no matter if the sun is shining or not.  I don’t leave home without Dermalogica’s Full Spectrum Wipes SPF 15.  One package includes 15 towlettes that provide triple protection from UVA, UVB and infrared rays.  Wiping yourself down with a towlette is a great way to ensure full body coverage.
•    If you plan to show a little skin on your vacay you may be wondering what products will leave you with that sun kissed glow.  While I have not yet personally attempted a faux tan I can share with you products that I have heard are amazing.  St. Tropez and Model Co are two lines that consistently get rave reviews from my friends and family. Both lines include an aerosol spray that deliver a super fine, even mist to achieve that perfectly natural looking tan.
