On April 8, 2010 Air Canada’s first flight from Toronto to John Wayne Airport in Orange County touched down just after 8 p.m., establishing JWA’s first international route. The return flight will take off just 12 hours later, at 8 a.m., Friday. But don’t worry, if you miss this one, you can catch another, thanks to the new year-round service aboard a 120-seat Airbus A319.

The contact increases the number of non-stop destinations from John Wayne Airport to 20 and the number of commercial airlines offering service from Orange County to 11 (plus two commuter airlines).
