HAUTE CHILD N THE CITY | Setai Fifth Avenue Does More for the Girl than Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Kathy Marino

If there is anything to be said about this Orange County girl leaving for a New York City  weekend getaway, its in finding the best way to enjoy an amazing city in a very short amount of time.  Its not often you find a luxury deluxe apartment gem in Midtown Manhattan, mid-spring with an impeccable skyline, but when you do, as I did recently, it can transform even a short weekend getaway into a grand scale blissful escape.  I would have to say, aside from visiting NYC during one the most loveliest times of year, staying at New York City’s finest Skyline soaring more than 60 stories above Fifth Avenue  truly set apart any visit to the City I’ve experienced  as one of the finest and most distinguished elevation of Luxury at the renown 5-Star Hotel Setai Fifth Avenue,  a true inspiration for the soul.

The Setai Fifth Avenue, A Capella Managed Hotel, is just two blocks north of the Empire State Building in the heart of New York City’s fashion and theater districts and only a short stroll away of  major city landmarks such as the Morgan Library, the New York Public Library as well as fashion landmark Bryant Park.

Apartment style living in the prime area of NYC fashion,  doesn’t get any better than this. … Continue Reading

There are  extraordinary shoe designers in the world but this we know – there is only one Salvatore Ferragamo, renown for designing shoes from Eva Peron to Marilyn Monroe he was a visionary with an incredible life story of success and art that is inspirational to date. In 1933, Ferragamo filed for bankruptcy during the economic recession but went on to design up to 300 hand-made shoes a day staffed with over 700 artisans we learned that he experimented with designs, and even went so far as to apply for patents for ornamental and utility models.

ALBERTINI: The first thing you realize when you visit Ferragamo’s Museum in Florence, Italy is the fact that you are not just simply looking at beautiful shoes of different colour, you a
