JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT | Elevates Hauteoc Travelers and Welcomes Terminal C: 6 New Gates, Brand New Terminals, Shopping and Dining Options
Effective Sunday, November 20, 2011, Frontier and Southwest Airlines will be fully operational in John Wayne Airport’s new Terminal C. Passengers flying on these airlines should use Terminal C to check bags, access security screening and claim bags at Baggage Carousel 5, 6 or 7. Parking Structure B2 and the new Parking Structure C are the parking options closest to Terminal C. A new Valet Parking location is also available in front of Terminal C.
Terminal C, which opened to the public on November 14, 2011, includes six new bridged aircraft gates, a new commuter terminal, more security checkpoints, self-serve check-in kiosks, as well as new dining and shopping options.
In addition to the new terminal, Parking Structure C, with more than 2,000 parking spaces and advanced parking technology is now open and includes:
- Digital signage to identify how many parking spots are available in real-time.
- Kiosks that allow travelers to pay for parking as they exit the airport (pay-on-foot), before getting to their cars. Effective, November 20, 2011, Frontier and Southwest Airlines will no longer serve passengers in Terminal B. In order to meet the growing needs of the traveling public, John Wayne Airports welcomes Terminal C.
