If you ever have the opportunity to meet Executive Chef Bruno Serato of the Anaheim Whitehouse, you’ll be moved beyond his impeccable italian gourmet menu at first glance — the first serving you get is his contagious smile, next his compassionate heart, and for dessert an incredible hearty laugh with every meal as big as a bear hug.  Truly a bonafide angel to over 500,000 plus hotel kids, Bruno’s wonderful meals are relished thoroughly  by palette and by plate by his biggest fans. This feast of love is donated daily to families in need and  is Bruno’s rite of passage for Catarina’s Club  a non-profit charity organization dedicated to supplementing monetary resources for families to escape the vicious cycle of subsequent shortages of making the first and last month rent on much-needed housing for homeless children and their parents who live day-by-day in motels. Bruno Serato was named one of the top 10 “CNN Hero Honorees” of 2011

What most may have thought was an impossible feat of providing meals during one of the most economically  challenging times of our country,  has become an evolution of hope — in fact, you may call it a “Moveable Feat.”    This Orange County movement has inspired many to take greater stride in our communities to supplement those in need with a helping hand and in this case, a hearty plate of pasta with cheers of support.  It is with great honor that we announce this Moveable Feat which has now traveled beyond the Orange County perimeter as cheers become music to our ears.

Last February Bruno Serato was invited to join IAOF on a national endeavor on an Italian network station to announce his inspirational movement as part of this year’s Italian American Opera Festival charity spotlight,  a joint musical journey that sparkles hope for families in need.

On behalf of the Italian American Opera Festival, it is with great honor Hauteoc Inc announces CNN Hero Bruno Serato as this year’s Honorary Chair presented by the acclaimed Italian American Opera Festival, artistic director of the Tuscia Operafestival in Italy,  Maestro Stefano Vignati.

The Italian American Opera Foundation (IAOF) was created with the aspiration to develop a cultural bridge between Italy and the United States.

The Italian Conductor Stefano Vignati was born in Rome (Italy), where he studied Pianoforte and Composition under the guidance of noted Maestri C. Savelloni, C. Ricci and T. Procaccini. He also studied History and Musical Analysis at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome with Prof. P. Luigi Petrobelli, obtaining the highest honors. Maestro Vignati has studied Conducting and participated in International Master Classes with H. Baumann, A. Joo, N. Hansalik Samale, Lawrence Golan and V. Delman. In1990 he began his professional career in earnest, conducting Concerts in Italian theatres and enlarging his area of experience outside Italy.

Since 1994 he has been the founder and the Artistic Director of the International Lyric Academy, an educational program which provides opportunities for Young Artists to perform in Italy.  In 1995 M° Vignati conducted the Franco Ferrara Symphony Orchestra and was invited to conduct a concert for the series “I Concerti di Rai Tre” produced by RAI – Italian Radio/Television.  Verdi Requiem (Viterbo, Italy and Aliso Viejo, Los Angeles 2013), two Concerts with Ramin Bahrami (August and October 2013) Beethoven Simphony n° 3 and Violin Concert(Zurigo, Tonhalle, October 2013), Concert with the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra (QinTai Concert Hall, Whuan China November 2013) China Concert Tour with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra (Bejiing January 2014), Don Giovanni (Denver March 2014).

Maestro Vignati in January 2011 has been nominated Artistic Director of one of the most important Italian Festival, the Festival Barocco (42th edition) and Artistic Consultant of DiCapo Opera Theater in New York.

He is also the Musical Director of the Camerata Barocca “Claudio Monteverdi.

EXPERIENCE “THE ZAPPOS STORY” AS TOLD BY A VERY SPECIAL GUEST:   Day 3 of Orange County Fashion Week, Thursday, March 21^st, keeps the stylish energy alive when local retailers gather at the Crown Plaza Hotel, adjacent to South Coast Plaza, to support local, emerging, and established designers for a Runway Expose Fashion Show that will prove just how fashionable “Ready-to-Wear” can be.

The electric evening opens at 6PM with a Special Guest Experience, “Delivering Happiness.” Guest speaker Charles Ressler, in demand fashion, art, and business consultant, will share  the ZAPPOS EXPERIENCE, the method by which Tony Hsieh grew his small shoe company Zappos into a $2 billion empire. He’ll share his experience with this worldwide phenomenon which is particularly inspiring to anyone in Fashion, Music or Art.

Followed by Parisian designer, writer and columnist Sylvie de Gil. De Gil founded L.A. Fashion District-based Jomsy, a noted fashion industry consulting firm that supports emerging designers, helping them bring their visions to the runway and showrooms nationwide.

This evening, at 7:15 pm, de Gil’s topic will be “How to Build Your runway to Success,” a topic of interest to all in or interested in fashion.

Following de Gil’s talk, it’s on to the main event: two back-to-back runway fashion shows, at 8: pm and 8:30 pm, featuring no fewer than six of the hottest emerging and established designers:

Tatiana Zaykovskaya: This Russian-born designer and graduate of the Art Institute in San Diego will show off her latest Tatiana’s Threads lingerie and lounge wear line, which embraces modern-day comfort and fun to give every woman a chance to celebrate her own individual style.

Jessica Kircher: This up-and-coming 22-year-old designer will bring her “girly vintage” romance-inspired line – with a modern twist – line to the runway. Her goal is to make any-sized girl feel beautiful and confident when wearing her unique stylings.

MindControl Kreative: The creation of “Upbeat Offbeat Fashion Design Artist Adriana Diaz,” MindControl Kreative strives to “remix clothing & accessories on universal grounds with a creative force of upbeat offbeat artistic rhythm, expressing the truth of life found in the beat of the heart and depth of the soul.” It should make for a good show.

Eduardo Reategui: This Peruvian-born designer worked with companies such as St. John Knits, True Religion, and Brand Jeans before starting his own successful line of ready-to-wear silk and cotton tops in various colors and shapes. Not shy, Reategui is out to illuminate the process of innovation – not just design – and enlighten the business models for today’s world.

Noelle Nicole: This Orange County-based emerging Designer, Blogger, and Entrepreneur creates timeless, Old Hollywood driven pieces that flatter the feminine silhouette and never go out of style. Each piece is handmade, upon request, in the United States, using only high-quality imported silk materials. Some of her favorite creations will be on display.

La Tasha Buccheit: An OC and L.A. Fashion Week veteran, Buccheit launched AhsataL in 2010, an independent self-worth driven apparel line with a keen eye for detail and innovative style. It’s a fitting finale to the Runway Expose.

Orange County Fashion Week also introduces its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative created to showcase select charities as designated by participating retailers. Retail venues can become an OC Fashion Week “Retail Member-Supporter /Advocate” with a pledge to support a charity of their choice.  A percentage of the proceeds made during the OC Fashion Week, March 19-24, 2013, from their retail sales will then go to the support a selected charity. OC Fashion Week will also spotlight participating CSR retailers at “In the Pursuit of Fashion,” events.
