Apple has announced it’s much anticipated iPad tablet will be available in the U.S. on April 3rd. The Wi-Fi models will go on sale first. The iPads that can connect to Wi-Fi as well as 3G cellular networks will go on sale in late April. Apple officials say the iPad, which features a touch screen similiar to the iPhone, will include 12 new applications designed especially for the device.
They will cost between $499 and $829
U.S. customers may pre-order them beginning March 12 from Apple’s on-line store, or reserve a Wi-Fi model to pick up on April 3 at an Apple store.
